In Memory of Gogi – Angelo Grech Angelo Grech known to everybody as Gogi left this world on May 27th 2008. He was a wonderful man .His wife Inez whom he loved unconditionally is inconsolable. His beloved kids are the same. Gogi lived for love and peace of his family and everybody around him. Gogi’s life began in Nadur – Gozo, his beloved land till the end. He attended the Mnarja every year. He was very active in the Basilica Committee during the Basilica years in 1967. He was even in the Committee of the “Festi Esterni” He was the secretary of this Committee. He was a very generous man. A great believer in charity. His favorite charity was “ Il-Missjoni ta’ Father Karm Attard (ta’ Caqqas). As we all knew he corresponded with Gogi with letters for over 30 years. I read some of these letters and they brought tears to my eyes. The friendships that they established during these years were very spiritual. Gogi you left so many tears behind you. We know what a good family man you were and kind to everybody that knew you. You will be missed. |
