The oldest ones enjoy listening every Sunday to the Maltese Music and read the stories on your website It is very interesting. We all miss Malta and hope that one day we goagain. My father always told us to speak Maltese 50 years ago when we came to Canada, and as of today all my
sisters and brothers speak Maltese. My father was a Sargeant in the British Army and when his duty finished in l96l he brought usto Canada for a better future, my mother wanted to go to Australia, I wish he listened to her. He looked at the Map and thought Canada is bigger so we get a better future, he never realized how cold it gets in the Winter. I have lots of relatives in Australia who listened to this link. I am Grace Tonna from Canada. Peter your website is marvelous, with the Town decorated with flags for the feast plus inside the church St. Peter and St. Paul coming out of niche. It gives you a nice feeling that you want to fight tears. For my surprise I was trying to keep my radio Luminarja on to wait for the Mass to come on but the radio shuts off and I couldn't get it on it shuts off. Then I tried the Radio Luminarja web site to try to see if it comes on. After I was reading the Arch Priest message and kept going down the page and reading the messages the two new Priests giving best wishes to our new Arch Priest Rev Mons Jimmy Xerri. I see Mnarja Live Streaming and that was nice to see what's going on but we were missing the audio. They are working on it, at first, things don't go as plan. I'm sending this message to let all Nadurin know that the web cam is on so this year we can see the Panegierku and all ceremonies in the Chuch. Thank you Peter. The planned Isopu Gardens by the Nadur Local Council at the old quarry site, will be the best thing that will happen in Nadur. We don't really have a proper public garden in the town and we need something like this for family or group picnics.____This garden will also be ideal for folk singing "Ghana" as part of the feast of Mnarja, to continue the traditions lost with the Buskett. I have dreamed about this site since my childhood days. Perhaps I will see my dream become reality before I am gone.

I have Uncle's live in Melbourne, Emmanuel and Peter Sammut ta' lis-skiter. I send my regards to their Families. Hi Peter. My name is Sam, I am originally from Nadur. I came to Toronto , Canada in 1964. I return to Nadur every year for a visit. I remember when I came to Canada in 1964 a telegram took 2 days to arrive to its destination. Now with the advent of the telephone and the internet we have instant comunication. Not only you talk to the person half world away but you can also see him/her. It is a wonderful world. And Peter with your website you made it more wonderful. I seen here the picture of my brother who passed away in nadur in March. My heart and soul never left Nadur even if I have been away all my life. I have found two seamen amongst them who are related to me. One is Salvu Farrugia (ta' l-Iskiter) my fathers brother and the other one is Coronato Farrugia (ta' l-Inglis) my father's cousin. I use to hear my dad talk about these 2 young men, because he was a seamen as well and I often wandered what they looked like.
